When Diana and Charles got married, my Nana, rest her soul, claimed we were of the royal family....lol....aren't we all? (I mean somewhere back we are all related)
Anyhow, because of it, she wanted us all to see the wedding. (All the cousins would stay at Nana's in the summer)
So one morning she gets us all up at 4 am to watch the wedding.
Nana is turning the channels...back in the old days with when there wasn't a remote...lol.
Still can picture her hiney in the air as she was flipping through the channel.
She can't find the wedding anywhere. Turns out she woke us up a week early!!!! ROFLOL!!!!!

Thinking of closing down shop
I'm contemplating closing this blog. When I started blogging it was mostly for my own personal thoughts, relections, etc.
I seldom blog anymore and don't feel like it's benefitting anyone anymore, so heads up, I might close this up soon.

Prayer Request from my sister
Please pray for my sister's friend and family...
"Prayers desperately needed for my good friend Christine's daughter Bethany. Bethany's only seven. Christine & her husband are talking to hospice tomorrow. We know prayers are powerful"

God Morning, etc
Part of my lack of blogging was because I was/maybe still am angry with GOD. I didn't want to post negative things, even though I'm struggling with my faith and life in general. I can't explain all of it, but I know I'm getting pretty tired of living in an RV and never knowing what's next. I know I should just accept the fact that that's the way my life is, but I want a "normal life". Yeah, I know, "what is normal?" Normal to me would be, living in a house, having a daily routine, hubby going to work and coming home. Living on the road is sometimes like that. Sometimes it's not.
I really would appreciate prayers and encouragement here on my blog if you stop by to read. Life isn't always peaches and cream. I, too, need encouragement.
A friend of mine on FB posted God Morning....I wonder if she meant God Morning or Good Morning? I thought it was interesting. It made me think, It is a GOD morning. Every morning is. I wonder how many times I think that though? Do I wake up every morning thinking, "This is a GOD morning!" I'll have to admit I don't. I really don't wake up all happy and joyful in the morning, usually. I kinda wish I could sleep all day most days. It usually takes me awhile to wake up. I don't drink coffee, either. Once I'm finally up, if I don't have anything to do, I usually just drag. Somedays, I read the WORD, other days I don't. (hey always trying to keep it real, here)
GOD morning reminds me of the day is what you make of it.
Blessings for now!

Seriously, New York????
Before I start my rant....I want to apologize for just disappearing. I have a lengthy explanation, and am working on that post, but to simply state it....I was in sin, and just didn't feel like posting. I'm sorry for letting so many people down. I will post about it later, but I'm not finished with that post yet. I would appreciate prayers-it's a delicate and difficult situation, but I have always tried to be honest with you, and I won't change that now.
Seriously, New York?
You may wonder what in the world I'm even referring to. I'm ranting about NY getting one of the space shuttles. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
Living in TX most of my life, Houston none-the-less, This is a tremendous blow to the city and state. I can understand FL, CA, and WDC getting a shuttle, but NY? Yes, I know it's all political....yeah, like they are going to score points with me....but come on, did we hear the astronaunts say, "New York, the Eagle has landed?" or did we hear on Apollo 13 did they say, "New York, we have a problem?"
Ummm....NO!
Houston has been served a HUGE injustice again. sigh....I could really get on a soap box here....the Astros and Bud Selig, the Summer Olympics....just to name a few....but seriously....NY?
What on earth other than politics could anyone be thinking? NASA's heart and soul is the Houston area, and has been from practically day one.
For over 30 years, men and women have given their all to the space program, moving their families to Houston to train, study, etc. Several contracting companies have been associated with NASA and the Space program.
When the Shuttle exploded in 1986, President Regan came to Houston. Why? Because most of the Astronaunts that died were living in Houston at the time.
I am SO disappointed and angry by this decision.
God Bless the men and women that have sacrificed their lives, time, and energy in our Space program and made Houston the great city it is. Thank you for all you have done over the years. Maybe you didn't get the shuttle, but your hard work and determination hasn't gone unnoticed by everyone.
(BTW....this was on my FB AFTER I posted this blog post, so I came and added it on.)
Will you consider signing a petition?

Blessings until next time.
