So Many Answered Prayers!!!

For quite sometime I really was beginning to think GOD wasn't listening to me anymore.  :(  I thought my prayers were bouncing off the ceiling.  I'm sure most people can relate.  Even when we really know that isn't true, but we get frustrated because there hasn't been an answer, any kind of response, ya feel like GOD's not listening.  In my case, I felt I was so far away from GOD, HE was ignoring me.  sigh~

This week GOD proved me wrong again!  (thank GOD!) I have had several answered prayers.
My friend C~
*won the makeover that I prayed she would win.

An old neighbor had a prayer request for her baby, he was diagnosed with craniosynostosis (premature fusing of the skull sutures, causing a build-up of intracranial pressure among other things).
I prayed and believed GOD for healing and peace for momma and daddy.  (I know many people were also praying)
*"CT scan  showed that the plates of his skull are NOT fusing together - he is perfectly healthy and will not need surgery. "

Prayer for a former classmate's niece to have a safe and healthy delivery.
*After 2 days of labor, "Baby has arrived!! He is healthy and happy. Mom is doing good."

Thursday, Doodles had been practicing on her pink and white nails on dowel rods, and she was getting frustrated.  I said a little prayer and asked GOD to help her because I knew she was tired and wanted to succeed.
* She sent me a picture later of her first attempt on her own finger.  Her instructors were amazed at her first attempted.  They said it's the best first try they every seen! (btw that hangnail was already there)

Another friend is looking for a job and had a job interview.
*she has a follow up next week!

A friend is planning her daughter's wedding and needed a comforting word. I knew before she called.
*I prayed beforehand and when she called not only did she feel better, but she got some good news about the church offering to not charge her for the wedding!  (we prayed for help in the wedding finance dept too!)

I asked my friends to pray about dh and the job situation on Wednesday, and before the interview at 6, *dh had already interviewed early and had the job!

I am overwhelmed by so many answered prayers!  I am feeling so blessed and relieved!  So grateful! So very grateful, that GOD didn't forget about me. HE isn't ignoring me, and most importantly, HE STILL AND ALWAYS HAS loved me!  Thank YOU LORD!

There are several request on my prayer list that I'm praying for.  My friend on FB started poke and pray day.  I think it is perfect!  You poke someone to let them know you're praying for them.  She uses a specific day, I thought it was Wednesday, so that was the day I prayed all the above requests, but then I decided from now on,when I say a prayer for someone, I'm gonna poke them (well as long as I can remember.  LOL)

Blessings and I hope you're encouraged!  :D

Okay, so slight change of plans...

We are going to drop the RV off in Brenham today at DH's parents, make our way back to KS, get dd an apartment, get some stuff out of storage in Arkansas, bring the boat down and settle somewhere in the Freeport area this week.  I'll try to post sometime on the road.  PLEASE pray for a smooth and safe trip...I'm not in the mood for the "adventures" that we had on the way here.  OY!

Thanks and blessings!

And the nomination goes to....

A week or so ago, I saw on FB that my credit union was giving away a $3000 home makeover.  I didn't do anything about it.  When I went to the website, I saw it again, and thought I'll check it out.  I went back to FB and it said to click and nominate someone and why. It took me over to the credit union's FB page.  I didn't need to think about who I wanted to nominate.  I knew right away who it would be.  This is what I said:

I want to nominate my friend Christy and her husband who is a police officer for the city of Austin.  They are awesome and bless me in so many ways.  They both work hard for their community, church, family and friends.  I know they would really appreciate a makeover.
Their FB reply was:
Thank you!  We love those that serve our city!

Monday, as I was getting ready to leave KS, I got a FB pm.  It said,
Hi, I work for Amplify Credit Union and would like to talk to you about your nomination. Can you please email me at **********or ******@*******.com
I responded by email explaining I would be on the road all day.  Got another email that said to call on Tuesday.  To make a long story short,  I emailed them Tuesday, explaining more about my friend and that my phone service stinks where I am at, but they could try to call me or ask me more questions via email.   I got this reply:
Bobbi - thank you! Can you provide me with their contact info? Phone and or email? We want to notify them that they won :)
My response:
OH MY GOD!!!!! oh yes!!!! Thank you!!!!!!! OH YES!!!!

Christy's number is 512-***-****

OH MY GOD!!! THANK YOU SO VERY, VERY MUCH!!!!
To say I was EXCITED was a MAJOR  UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!  LOL

WHAT A BLESSING to be a BLESSING with a very SMALL act.

Thank YOU LORD for blessing my friends.  They have blessed me in SO MANY ways and I am so thankful YOU are faithful to hear and answer and bless those that are a blessing.  YOU have blessed me again by blessing them.  I am so thankful, and I know they are too.

Blessings to all of you today!

PS  I really hate to leave this on a somewhat sad note, but could you all please lift up my friend, Rosemary and her family, today and the next few days?  She lost her mom unexpectedly yesterday. This is what she posted on her FB page:
My mom passed away unexpectedly this afternoon. She was talking with family, then took a few deep breathes, then just stopped breathing. A nice, quiet way to go. Now she is in heaven with my dad and the angels.
Sounds very bittersweet.
Thanks friends and blessings to you all!

FB-not a place to share your REAL feelings!

On a side note, we made it to the Amarillo area.  sigh~  We don't even know if we ACTUALLY have a job here.  LONG story.  Time will tell.

I left Facebook.  It was something I already had been planning to do, but after the other day, I decided I had enough.  I was really, really hurt by some of my friends.  I know we aren't suppose to live by our feelings, but I really just needed encouragement the other day, and instead I felt judged, misunderstood, and they were giving me advice on stuff they have NO (completely none) understanding about!

My family and I live in an RV.  We do it because we have to go where the work is, not to mention it's how we keep our family together. Our house is currently leased out.  We might not even get to move back in.  We could be facing foreclosure.  The bank said they would refinance the note, and then never did anything about it, even after we did everything we were suppose to do.  They said, wait and don't make anymore payments, after they decided we needed to pay over $5000 a month, for 6 months! That was several months ago.  That's just part of the story....

Then "friends" on FB say, "time for a change hun" and "set daily goals...."
SERIOUSLY????  SET DAILY GOALS????  Do YOU know what it's like to live in an RV and not know from day to day where you'll be and what you'll be doing?  some how I SERIOUSLY doubt it!!!  What can I change?  I have had a fairly great attitude about "my adventures" over the past 10+ years, but now I'm tired.  I'm stressed....and now I'm hurt!

The only daily goals I can set are spiritual goals, and physical goals of what I eat, time I get up, doing laundry, making dinner.  I can not plan anything....EVER!!!!

All I wanted was someone to say it's okay, it will get better.  I didn't need or want your advice on life...since you obviously don't get mine!!!  I was extremely hurt by that, so I left FB, and I don't plan on going back.  And I seriously doubt the person that said that will even see this.  And if she does, well then maybe that's a good thing.  I don't want to mention names, I don't want to be mean, but I am extremely hurt by this situation.  :(

I know many people don't understand.  At this point it probably doesn't even matter.  :(

For those of you that have been praying, I ask that you continue to do so.  I really appreciate not only your prayers, but your words of encouragement.

I received one of the sweetest words of encouragement the other day from my friend, BK.  I surely hope she doesn't mind me sharing it.

Okay, my beautiful friend
You're sounding pretty frantic and I just wanted to let you know that I love you and am praying for you. I can't even imagine how deeply weary you must be of the constant change. I don't have any wise words for you but I DO want you to know that I think you're amazing, even when you're falling apart. And it's okay.

big hugs to you, Bobbi ((((((((((((((((((((((((Bobbi))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
love ya,

House deal etc.

The house deal fell through.  :( The owner decided he didn't want to owner finance or lease.  Not good for us, because DH is suppose to start work in Midland on Monday. Now we don't have a place for oldest dd.  We have to leave our stuff in storage-spread all across the country.  :(  We have no idea how long we will be gone. This really cause a problem because dd works here after months of searching for a job-is she suppose to drop her job only for us to be gone a few days, weeks, months?

Thanks all for praying.  I've kinda come to the conclusion over the past 2-3 years it doesn't matter....GOD's will is done either way and we can't change that.

The Stars at night are big and bright....

Dh started a new job today in KC.  We will at some point be going to Midland for him to solidify the relationship with the client and work on the project. We could be there six months to a year, then dh would return to work out of the office in KC.

In the meantime, Doodles plans on staying here to go to Beauty school to become a nail tech....eventually wanting to own a salon....and working at the grocery store and Starbucks (inside the grocery store).

We need to find her a place to live.  We'll of course be taking the RV with us.  We found a cute little 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house, on the outskirts of town, on 10 acres.  DH spoke to the  owner about owner financing or leasing.  Hopefully he will agree to one or the other.  Doodles would have a place to live, we could finally pull our stuff out of storage, and have a place to call home when we return to KC.  So prayers would be appreciated that we have supernatural favor in the matter.  Thanks!

"Meet me in St. Louie, Louie"

Last week we met my sister in St. Louis.  She had flown to NY to visit some of our family and then flew down to St. Louis to meet up with us and so we all could meet some friends that we've known since 1972(?).

Of course the trip started off adventurous, needless to say.  First we needed to get new license plates for the camper.  That in itself is a story.  sigh~

In KS, you have to have your RV inspected before you can get a plate.  (they have to make sure it's the same vin number.  It's not the kind of inspection to make sure the lights are working, etc)

So the day we were off to do the inspection, DH went to connect the 5th wheel to the truck.  The front stands to the 5th wheel somehow gave, and the camper came crashing down on the bed sides of the truck, leaving huge dents on both sides of the bed of the truck and messing up some of the RV.

We got down to the inspection place in the nick of time, then had to go to the courthouse to get the plates.  Of course the people at the courthouse didn't give me all the information I needed and the drama continues.
So after an all day affair on and off at the courthouse we had our plates.  (I'll save you the drama)

We stayed in the RV in a KOA.  Dh bought tickets to a Cardinals game and season passes to Six Flags ($10 more for a season pass than a one day pass, and good at all the Six Flag parks).

My sister flew in on Thursday, her birthday, the second.  We picked her up at the airport, went out for breakfast, went back to the RV for a nap, then off to the ball game.

When we got to downtown STL, I was driving, DH was telling me where to park.  He'd already purchased tickets for the game and parking online.  So we are hunting for the parking lot we are suppose to park in.  We went to three different parking lots, and none of them were correct.  Somehow my sister asked for the receipt from DH.  She looked at the receipt and said, "Um, this parking is for the first, not tonight.  So are these tickets."  My heart sank.  DH looked at the recipt, printed off the internet.  His heart sank.  He covered his face with his hands and said, "I can't believe I put the wrong date in."  Oldest DD said, "Daddy, go to the front office and explain what happened. Maybe they can fix it."  Of course the receipt said, "NO REFUNDS. NO EXCHANGES."  DH said, "Yeah, I'll go talk to them, maybe they can do something."  DD said, "Let's pray first"  So we prayed and asked GOD to work something out.  We dropped DH off and we drove around, waiting.

While we were driving, all I could think about was the $200+ that would be wasted.  I prayed, asking the LORD to work it out somehow.  I was literally sick to my stomach. I sent out a prayer request to my friends on Facebook, saying something like, "Prayers for supernatural favor needed now."

After about 10 minutes, DH called and said, "You'll never believe this. I explained the situation and they gave us field box tickets. These are better than what we paid for.  Come and park near the first parking spot we went to. I'll tell you all about it when you guys get here. Call me then."

My heart leaped.  I whispered and prayer of thanksgiving to the LORD and explained the situation to everyone and we all were thankful.

We parked and called DH.  When we got to him, he had such a joyful look on his face.  He looked like a little boy.  It was so very cute.  ;)

He said he explained to the lady that we came in for the ballgame for tonight and somehow he accidently ordered the tickets for the first.  (and we still truly don't know how he did that.)  He explained we drove in to meet my sister from KC, KS, who flew in from out of town, to see the game for her birthday, and how it was a lot of money that was going to be wasted, was there anything she could do.  She said, "Let me go speak to my manager, I'll be back in a few minutes sir."  When she came back, probably after looking to see if we used our tickets for the previous night, and checking with her manager, she said, "My manager said to give you 6 tickets in a good section. We can't give you your same spot from last night, but we can find something." DH said, "No ma'am, I understand.  Just something, even blechers seat will be fine.  It was my mistake."  They ended up giving us Field box tickets which costs $77 each!  The tickets we paid for were like $18 each.  What a MAJOR BLESSING!!!!

Although I'm not a Giants fan or a Cardinals fan, we cheered on the Cardinals that night, because they were so very kind to us.  They lost 12-7.  :(

What a great story of GOD's faithfulness, even though I've been so distant to Him.
Thank YOU again, LORD.  :)

God Morning, etc

Part of my lack of blogging was because I was/maybe still am angry with GOD. I didn't want to post negative things, even though I'm struggling with my faith and life in general.  I can't explain all of it, but I know I'm getting pretty tired of living in an RV and never knowing what's next.  I know I should just accept the fact that that's the way my life is, but I want a "normal life".  Yeah, I know, "what is normal?"  Normal to me would be, living in a house, having a daily routine, hubby going to work and coming home.  Living on the road is sometimes like that.  Sometimes it's not.

I really would appreciate prayers and encouragement here on my blog if you stop by to read.  Life isn't always peaches and cream.  I, too, need encouragement.

A friend of mine on FB posted God Morning....I wonder if she meant God Morning or Good Morning?  I thought it was interesting.  It made me think, It is a GOD morning.  Every morning is.  I wonder how many times I think that though?  Do I wake up every morning thinking, "This is a GOD morning!"  I'll have to admit I don't.  I really don't wake up all happy and joyful in the morning, usually.  I kinda wish I could sleep all day most days.  It usually takes me awhile to wake up.  I don't drink coffee, either.  Once I'm finally up, if I don't have anything to do, I usually just drag. Somedays, I read the WORD, other days I don't.  (hey always trying to keep it real, here)

GOD morning reminds me of the day is what you make of it

Blessings for now!

Distorted Mirror Imagine

When someone is faced with the truth, they have two choices.  They can accept it or they can choose to ignore it.

Recently, my dh contacted a family member that he use to be very close to.  As a matter of fact his family and our family were very close.  We would spend time visiting them and they would come and visit us.  We shared the LORD with them.  The Mrs. got saved.  It looked like Mr. would too.  (Mr is the family member.)

Then we got very sad news...Mr. was leaving Mrs. for another.  :(   It broke our hearts.  We prayed.  Mr. quit communication with us.  We still kept in contact with Mrs. and the Juniors-mind you Mr. is the family member, in case you forgot.  ;)

A few years ago, we went through a raging spiritual battle.  It was very painful to our family.  I won't go into the details, other than to say many lies were told about us and there are still those that are spreading them and those that are believing them.  I have been able to overcome the hurt and pain by reminding myself time and time again....
Ephesians 6:12 (King James Version)

12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

As I said earlier, recently dh has contacted Mr.  Mr.  has chose to believe the lies of the raging spiritual battle that took place.  :(  This morning as I was praying the LORD showed me why he chose this way.
Mr has heard the TRUTH.  Mr knows the TRUTH.  Mr has chose not to live the TRUTH.

So why did Mr choose to believe the lies?  Because then Mr would have to look at the TRUE imagine in the mirror.  He would have to deal with his sin and the lies he has built up.  Mr has decided not to persue a relationship with dh because dh represents those TRUTHS.  Mr thinks he can avoid "conflict" (his words, not mine) by not having people around him that keep in touch with his exwife and kids.  HA!  He apparently doesn't realize the conflict is with his inner man and the outer man can keep those "conflicts" at a distance, but he will still have conflict. It's sad, and it hurts to see dh hurt so much.  This man was like a brother to him, but  he  (dh) knows that it's spiritual.

Mr has built of this distorted view of dh based on lies, so that he doesn't have to deal with the TRUTH.  Yes, sad, but very true!

Will you join us in prayer for Mr and those involved?  He will be a part of many prayers to come in our future.

My heart is deeply saddened for the fact that Mr might never turn to the LORD and get this right.  Yes, I realize that is his choice, but when I think about him standing before the LORD trying to explain, I get a lump in my throat, and my eyes welt up with tears.  That will be a sad day indeed, if Mr chooses not to make things right, and I don't want to be standing nearby.  :(

I'm sure this is probably difficult to understand, but thanks for reading and praying.
Blessings until next time!

Not sure what to say...

Got this email from someone I love very much the other day:

Don't forget to say a "blessing" for Mom's soul today!

I did all I could not to respond with something like:

What good will it do?  She's either in Heaven or Hell.  There's no inbetween.

OR

The soul is the mind, will, and emotions. It won't do any good to pray for her soul.

sigh...or a number of other things that came racing to my mind.  But I withheld my thoughts and closed the email.

My family member (I thought) came to know the LORD about 10 years ago.  Now I question it.  I think they are going to some weird church with their spouse.  The spouse was brought up in a cult religion.

I am very concerned about this person. I would appreciate prayers, as I sift through this in my head, as to what I should say and how I should say it.

Blessings until next time!

Updates and other stuff...

Last week the awning broke. DH called the insurance agent.  He said the awning wasn't covered.  DH called the adjuster anyhow.  The adjuster said, "Who told you that?  We cover awnings."  PTL!

The day before dh forgot to pull the tailgate down, disconnected the RV after taking it to the dump station. :(  Now we need a new tailgate.

The day after the awning broke, I broke a taillight on the RV, trying to throw the bottom of the doghouse up on the back.  (We have a rack back there that holds our freezer up there and other stuff)

Doodles misplaced or lost her paycheck.  sigh...she already instant deposited it, so we might have mailed it already, but I really don't remember doing that. We all were very tired this weekend, and really don't remember.  We need to find the check or have it show up at the bank.

Last week dh had an uncle, on his dad's side, pass away on Tuesday (?)  and then another uncle, on his mom's side, pass away, on Saturday.  Dh and ds left Sunday to go to the second funeral.  He was very close to that Uncle.  Please pray for their safety.  The funeral is today, and then I think they are leaving to head back up this way.

Also, my cousin, Jackie, is engaged to a guy name Rob.  Rob's son was serving in Afganistan and was severely injuried.  He went through surgery and is now on life support.  Please keep the son and families in your prayers.

Blessings until next time!

Bless those that....

Thursday, we went to do laundry.  We have to take our dog with us, because he is an outside dog, and not allow to stay unattended at the park.  We put him in the back of the pickup, carefully tying him so he can't jump out or injury himself.  We get to the laundromat.  We unload our clothes.  While we are there, there is a gentleman out there smoking.  He clearly sees us.  He sees us attending to the dog.  Belle and I give the dog some water.  We go inside to start our clothes.  Scout starts to bark.  We go out and check on him.  We pet him and tell him to calm down.  We go back to the clothes.  Then Belle says, "Mom should I go put Scout under a tree?"  "Yes, that would be a good idea, Belle."   She takes him under a tree. She gives him more water.  She sits with him.  Joe Bug goes out there too.  Doodles and I are drying and folding the clothes at this point.  Belle comes in.  She put Scout back in the pickup bed...

The gentleman (the one smoking earlier) had seen us several times attend to our pet.  He had been out there smoking a number of times.  He comes into the laundromat, and says, "Are any of you the owner of the dog in the pickup?"  I reply, "Yes, sir, I am"  "Well the Human Society is here, they wish to speak to you.  They came out to look at a few of the dogs we groom. You can't leave a dog in the pickup unattended like that in 90*F weather!"

UMMMM HELLO????  You saw us out there with our dog a number of times!!!

I replied, "Sir we just put him back in the truck a few minutes ago."  "We can call the police!"-his response.
"No, sir, that won't be necessary."

I walk over to the Human Society lady.  I said, "Our dog was just under the tree and had water."  "He's panting pretty bad."  "Well he's use to the heat. We're from TX where it gets in the 100's."  "Well he's a dark colored dog.  He needs water."  "Okay, well we will put him back under the tree and get him some more water.  We aren't trying to cause any problems."

I proceed to walk away....

Some people are so flippin' aggravating!!!  I understand it was warm...but it was only 83*F(not 90*F like the guy said), our dog did have lots of water and was in the shade for most of the time. Dogs pant because it's their way of sweating.  The dog is NOT mistreated!!!  AND futhermore the man KNEW whose dog it was and was a jerk!!!

I had to remind myself to not be angry and pray for this man.  I still am having to remind myself of it.  I had to remind my children too...sigh...

I'm sure he probably called the Human Society...for whatever reason.

LORD help me to pray for this man and  I choose to forgive him.

(and if you all don't mind, please pray for me too.)

Blessings until next time!

PS.  I forgot to mention that the guy owned a dog grooming shop next door.  There was a lady in the laundromat that saw us tending to our dog, and when the guy came in and got me, afterwards the lady said, "That guy is a jerk.  I took my dog to him one time-that was all.  If you need someone to testify, I saw you tending to your dog, and he did too."  I thanked her very much.

No Surprise. GOD is still on HIS throne

I know many of us are very disappointed in our congress for the passing of the healthcare reform.  But have I got good news for you.  GOD is still on HIS throne and this didn't take HIM by surprise.  GLORY to GOD for that!

Do you know why our country thinks they need socialized healthcare?  Because we quit trusting GOD for our healings.  We decided going to the doctor was more important than going to the GREAT PHYSICIAN.  Dr. LUKE in the Bible...His job was to diagnose the sickness, so that the people knew how to pray to the GREAT PHYSICIAN and then go back to the doctor and he could declare them clean and free and healed!  It's about time we turn back to that kind of healthcare!

Now, maybe not everyone is going to get healed, but does that mean we quit praying?  Does that mean we quit looking to GOD?  NO!  We are in a lost and fallen world.  But if we get sick or struck with a disease, it is for GOD's GLORY that HE may be edified, not for the medical profession and insurance to make a killing financially.

Hey I'm just saying....

Blessings until next time!

Beth

My friend, Beth, is walking on streets of gold, worshipping the KING of KINGS and the LORD of LORDS today.  She moved to Heaven this morning from my understanding around 10 am EST.  Please keep her family and friends in your prayers as they mourn the loss of her smiling face and encouraging life dedicated to her SAVIOUR.

Thank you and blessings!

I've got to be honest...

I don't pop out of bed every morning ready to take on satan.  This morning I woke up, after a very long night of very little sleep, thinking to myself, "LORD, help me with my unbelief."

It's not easy to always be full of faith and encouraging words.  I have to remind myself daily, sometimes hourly, sometimes minute to minute, when satan tries to come against me.

I think that's what people don't understand.  It's something you have to do.  When the enemy tries to place doubt in you, you have to stand against it.  You have to say No, satan, the WORD of GOD says....

That is why it is so important that we know the WORD of GOD!  Remember even JESUS was tempted by satan, and had to tell him what the WORD said.  (you can read it in Matthew 4: 1-11)

According to II Corinthians 10:5, we are to...
 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

I'm not going to lie, it's not always easy. Therefore it's important for us to know the WORD of GOD, meditate on it and pray for our unbelief...which is where I'm at today.  I'd appreciate your prayers also.

Blessings until next time!

a friend's moving-sad

My friend, Beth, is moving to a bigger and better place soon. This is bittersweet for us that love her. I don't know Beth IRL.  We have been URL friends for over 10 years.  I met her on the first homeschool board I found on the internet.  Beth has always been an encourager.  I can remember when I first joined the board and our van transmission went out. She was so understanding and compassionate. When I lived in a tent, she was there to cheer me on.  Every move I've made I recall her saying things like, "Bobbi, you are the movingest family." LOL

Beth will soon be making the big move to Heaven.  She has tumors on her brain. All of us that know her have been praying for her healing. Beth's dh, Paul posted a few days ago, "Beth and I can only sit on the couch with my arm around her. Most of the time she is in a stupor or mostly asleep. Time goes so slow when you are actively waiting for Jesus. Please pray that he comes to visit Beth soon." Her dh posted yesterday on her FB, "I hurt too much to read, I hurt too much to write, my Beth is slipping away. I hurt I hurt I hurt. Paul"

Please keep Beth, her family (including her 3 grown children), and friends in your prayers during this bittersweet time.  We have the joy of seeing her again when we make our move to Heaven, but on the otherhand we will miss her encouragement, love, and kindness.

Blessings and thank you!

This is the plan...

Proverbs 29:18 (King James Version)

18Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

As of now this is the plan.  For those that don't know, dh got laid off on Friday.  We knew it was coming.  He hasn't had work from the start of the job.  He's been on overhead for 9 months.

We have a friend in Arkansas who is a chiropractor.  He has some acreage, a place for us to set up our RV, a storage area for us to put all our stuff, and an unused property.  He needs help fixing up his house and a classic car.  He also needs help with his office.

So this is the plan...we are going to leave North Dakota by the end of the month and go to Arkansas and dh is going to help our friend out with his house and car.  DD can help him with his office work and learn the insurance side of the business.  She used to work for a chiropractor.  Our friend isn't doing anything with the unused property and said we can do something with it.  Maybe a restaurant is in the makings???

I don't know what tomorrow will bring...but GOD does.  I need to focus on today and on HIM and that's all that matters.  HE is my vision, HE is my path, HE is faithful, and will bring great things to pass if I abide in HIM.

I would appreciate pray during this time.  Finances, direction, safe travels, etc

Also, would you mind praying for my dad's wife, Annie?  Annie's mom past away yesterday. From my understanding she past away in her sleep at 99 yrs of age, fulfilled with a good life.

Thanks and blessings until next time!

Forgiveness

Matthew 18:21-22 (King James Version)

21Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

I've often heard, "I can't ever forgive that person for what they've done!"

Forgiveness is a choice.  It's not a feeling. I might still feel mad, but I have to choose everyday to forgive someone that has hurt me.  When that person is brought to my mind and that hurt, I say, No, I choose to forgive that person and what they've done to me.  The pain of what they have done lessens with time, and often times I can extend grace to them remembering perhaps they aren't saved, they were going through something at the time, etc.

Back when we were in Alaska, dh helped a "friend" get a job there.  This person and his wife turned out not to be "friends".   It was a very difficult situation.  We had spent time together previously in Disneyland on vacation together along with other gatherings, etc.  When we left Alaska, one of the many reasons we left was because of what took place with this "friend".  We hadn't heard from them since.

The other night dh was on FB.  He found this "friend".  He sent him a message expressing some thoughts of what took place.  He got a reply back asking to call.  Dh contacted our "friend" last night.  He was truly repentive of what took place, and has been through some very difficult situations since. (without going into lots of details, divorce, drugs and prison are involved) Currently, he is going through many health issues, that could be life threating.

I knew at that moment that dh told me about his health issues, that I had forgiven them.  All I wanted to do was pray for them and ask GOD to heal his body and to help the situations that they have gone through. I didn't remember the hurts of the past, I remembered the fun times we had.  I remembered sharing the LORD with them at breakfast in Disneyland. All I've been doing is thinking about them and praying for them since dh told me what's going on.

I would ask that you would pray for them too.  GOD knows the details, so please pray as your heart leads.

Blessings until next time!
