"Rolling, rolling, rolling"..."keep them doggies rolling"

"On the road again, just can't wait to get on the road again"

Do you sense the theme?  LOL

We are headed to Freeport, TX. Dh is leaving this job and headed down to start another one on 8-1. Things here have been interesting to say the least. The company has made promises, not followed through, etc. So it's a good time to move on, since the opportunity arose. We will be closer to family and friends, even if it's for a short period of time (3-6 months).

We are headed to KC this weekend to pick up some things and also find Doodles a new place to live. She needs to move closer to school, and get a job near there. Currently, it's an hour away. Oy to the gas prices! She has a interview on Friday at 3pm. Prayers would be appreciated, not only for favor and a job, but the hours she needs to pay for her new place....where ever that may be.

Blessings!

House deal etc.

The house deal fell through.  :( The owner decided he didn't want to owner finance or lease.  Not good for us, because DH is suppose to start work in Midland on Monday. Now we don't have a place for oldest dd.  We have to leave our stuff in storage-spread all across the country.  :(  We have no idea how long we will be gone. This really cause a problem because dd works here after months of searching for a job-is she suppose to drop her job only for us to be gone a few days, weeks, months?

Thanks all for praying.  I've kinda come to the conclusion over the past 2-3 years it doesn't matter....GOD's will is done either way and we can't change that.

God Morning, etc

Part of my lack of blogging was because I was/maybe still am angry with GOD. I didn't want to post negative things, even though I'm struggling with my faith and life in general.  I can't explain all of it, but I know I'm getting pretty tired of living in an RV and never knowing what's next.  I know I should just accept the fact that that's the way my life is, but I want a "normal life".  Yeah, I know, "what is normal?"  Normal to me would be, living in a house, having a daily routine, hubby going to work and coming home.  Living on the road is sometimes like that.  Sometimes it's not.

I really would appreciate prayers and encouragement here on my blog if you stop by to read.  Life isn't always peaches and cream.  I, too, need encouragement.

A friend of mine on FB posted God Morning....I wonder if she meant God Morning or Good Morning?  I thought it was interesting.  It made me think, It is a GOD morning.  Every morning is.  I wonder how many times I think that though?  Do I wake up every morning thinking, "This is a GOD morning!"  I'll have to admit I don't.  I really don't wake up all happy and joyful in the morning, usually.  I kinda wish I could sleep all day most days.  It usually takes me awhile to wake up.  I don't drink coffee, either.  Once I'm finally up, if I don't have anything to do, I usually just drag. Somedays, I read the WORD, other days I don't.  (hey always trying to keep it real, here)

GOD morning reminds me of the day is what you make of it

Blessings for now!

Not MIA...

No, I haven't gone missing in action.  LOL!  We have been on the road to Arkansas this week.  We left around 5 pm on Monday and got here on Thursday.  We didn't have our wireless internet card working yet, so I had no way of communicating online.  (We didn't make many stops at rest areas this time, where they often have free internet)

Things are not as we expected, but I know GOD has a plan and it will all work out some how.  :D  Our friend's property is off of a busy road with railroad tracks next door, so we can't let the dog run, and it mostly is a wooded area that goes back far.  Trying to get the RV on the property was a bit interesting.  Dr. Donut (our friend...I tell you the story behind the name below) has a steep drive.  He also has a lot that isn't so steep, but the road is so narrow, it made getting the RV on the property take a long while.  The storage under his building....you have to go to the back of the building and there is a separate door to go in.  Unfortunately the property there is also steep, and the basement needs a lot of work and probably a lot of money to fix it up, not to mention some of the neighbors are less than be desired.  (not trying to be judgemental...but it's probably not a good place to leave our possessions)

Dh found a storage unit in a better area, and it costs only $40 a month. So we will drop our stuff off there and then head back up to ND to get the rest of our stuff.  We were hoping to get it all, except the boat, but that didn't work out.  :(

Dr. Donut got that name because when he use to call our house, the caller ID would show up his old partner's name Don Nutt...it looked like donut...so I started calling him Dr. Donut.  LOL!

Blessings until next time!

This is the plan...

Proverbs 29:18 (King James Version)

18Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

As of now this is the plan.  For those that don't know, dh got laid off on Friday.  We knew it was coming.  He hasn't had work from the start of the job.  He's been on overhead for 9 months.

We have a friend in Arkansas who is a chiropractor.  He has some acreage, a place for us to set up our RV, a storage area for us to put all our stuff, and an unused property.  He needs help fixing up his house and a classic car.  He also needs help with his office.

So this is the plan...we are going to leave North Dakota by the end of the month and go to Arkansas and dh is going to help our friend out with his house and car.  DD can help him with his office work and learn the insurance side of the business.  She used to work for a chiropractor.  Our friend isn't doing anything with the unused property and said we can do something with it.  Maybe a restaurant is in the makings???

I don't know what tomorrow will bring...but GOD does.  I need to focus on today and on HIM and that's all that matters.  HE is my vision, HE is my path, HE is faithful, and will bring great things to pass if I abide in HIM.

I would appreciate pray during this time.  Finances, direction, safe travels, etc

Also, would you mind praying for my dad's wife, Annie?  Annie's mom past away yesterday. From my understanding she past away in her sleep at 99 yrs of age, fulfilled with a good life.

Thanks and blessings until next time!

44 1/2...

Yesterday was my 44 1/2 birthday. It might not mean anything significant to any of you, but it meant something to me. My mom past away exactly on her 44 1/2 birthday. (That will be 26 years ago, June 29th).

I know that I'm washed in the blood of JESUS and I shouldn't have worried about it, but somehow it was always in the back of my mind...will I live longer than my mom? The devil aways has a way of nagging at us, keeping us from focusing on GOD's perfect will for our lives. It's his job...to kill, steal, and destroy! Thank goodness we are redeemed. Thank goodness that we have the victory through JESUS' death and resurrection!

If you don't have peace that passes all understanding, if fear, doubt, and insecurity have taken over your peace...turn to JESUS. HE is there with open arms to hold you and comfort you, to give you peace that passes all understanding.

I bet you all are wondering about moving to Fargo, etc...I'll try to share that in the next few weeks. In the meantime, I would appreciate prayers. Our house in TX hasn't sold, and we really need to buy something before winter sets in here (which will come sooner than I would like...) So if you all don't mind, please pray. Thanks!

Blessings until next posting!

busy, busy, busy!!!

Today the packers come, tomorrow the movers. We will leave TX on Thursday, which also happens to be my dh's 50th birthday! We will probably stop and see some friends on our way up in MO.

I can't believe we are actually moving, moving...dh and I have only done this like 3 times...the other times we've always had a home base...It's weird. :P

GOD has something for us and I know it is good, I don't know what it is, and it's not for me to figure it out, but I know it's something good...and that is exciting!!!

Not sure how often I'll be able to get on in the next few days, weeks, but I would appreciate your continued prayers for me and my family and comments to let me know you're thinking of us would be great! :D Thanks!

Blessings until you read again!

Exhausting Weekend...

We did it...we moved into the new RV, which we picked up on Friday. There was the walk throughs, the paper signing, the minor repairs, the moving stuff from one rv to the other, some more waiting on the repairs...sigh, and then finally on Saturday we got to take it to the rv park and leave it to go home and get the original mattress for the old rv. Needless to say it was a very tiring and busy weekend. Today I get to spend the day organizing and cleaning.

In other news, my sister's friend Erin, has a wonderful, heartfelt post on her blog. I encourage you to read it!

Blessings until next time!

Things I've missed/thought of while AWOL...

We got back to SC last night around midnight. Needless to say, we are all exhausted not only from the trip, but also from weeks and weeks of the physical labor of getting the house/yard ready to sell.

I missed posting for the 4th of July...there's lots of things I wanted to posted about that. We went to the annual July 4th parade in LV. We've made this a tradition since moving there. While there, I thought...this might be the last year America celebrates freedom and it's independence and people don't realize that...I wanted to post thougts, the constitution, etc..

I missed posting my baby's 21st birthday. The day was uneventful...we were busy packing etc to get the house ready. We left that night around 10pm to get back to SC. My sweet girl had to celebrate another birthday on the road...sorry baby. We love you!!!

Things I thought of while not having any sleep and miles to go on the road...

  • When I write my autobiography I going to title it, "My Life...Based on a True Story" LOL :P
  • I realized our friend doesn't like color on walls because he's colored blind, and probably doesn't enjoy color because it's grayed.
  • Pray without ceasing...it is possible...think of each person we see daily...people walking by, driving in the car, etc...what if we lifted them up and asked the LORD to bless them and if they don't know HIM-they will...that GOD will be reveal HIMSELF to them etc...then we would be praying all day!
  • Am I really old enough to have a 21 year old???? ACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!
  • I'm sure there's more...but I'm so tired I can't think of them...

Blessings for now...I'm heading off for a nap and a shower.

Yay-yay-yay!!!!

My sweetie is flying home today!!! Please keep him in your prayers for safe travels. We are all very anxious to see him-especially Bella! She is totally a daddy's girl!

Tomorrow dh has to attach a hitch to my van, clean out off the small trailer, get the tags for the small trailer and then we drive to Houston to see Doodles beloved Astros play the Red Sox! We will spend the night, pick up dh's boat engine on the small trailer, come home (and then get started on the list below)

In other news...
I've been working on getting the house ready to sell. So far I have (with the help of my friend, Marian) the garage cleaned, the shed clean, my closet clean, and my yard mowed, trimmed, etc.
I also cleaned and cleared the dining room and Joe Bug's room. Today, I will work on cleaning and clearing my room.

I still have to clear out the kitchen cabinents, the hall closet, and help the girls with their rooms.

Dh has to paint our room and bathroom, Joe Bug's room, the laundry room, and the dining room, along with the outside of the house.

We then need to clean the carpet and replace light bulbs etc.

It will be a busy week! Please pray we not only get it all done, but we get it done quickly and especially with a good attitude towards each other and about the work!

I saw a great quote by Erma Bombeck that a friend had on her lounge page today...
'When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything You gave me.''

Blessings until next time!

Church Billboard

We made it safely to SC, but not without incident...but I'll share that later.
We don't have internet connection, except if we drive up to RV owner's property...can't get wireless connection down where we are at. :( Dh is still trying to work on it.
I didn't realize that SC's church poplulation was mainly Baptist...interesting to say the least. Literally every corner there is a Baptist church!

Today while running errands I read on a church billboard..."Love your enemies. You made them!" Can you say IGNORANT???

IGNORANT from Dictionary.com

–adjective
1.
lacking in knowledge or training; unlearned: an ignorant man.
2.
lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact: ignorant of quantum physics.
3.
uninformed; unaware.
4.
due to or showing lack of knowledge or training: an ignorant statement.
[Origin: 1325–75; ME ignora(u)nt <>ignore; see -ant]

If I recall off the top of my head, JESUS was telling us to love our enemies because HE was speaking to believers and reminding us to love our enemies because it is not us they are against, it is HIM! When are people going to realize that sometimes others don't like us, are offended by us because of the light shining in us? We serve a REAL GOD and there is a REAL devil.
Ephesians 6:12 reminds us...
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Okay, rant over...

Blessings until next time...(and I look forward to being online daily soon)

BUGGING OUT AGAIN!!!

Okay, I think that this one won't be changed...so far since last Friday it's still a go...we are heading towards South Carolina...Greenville area to be more specific...the plan is to take the RV up there (dh has to be there by the 21st) and we will stay with dh for about 6 weeks, see if we like it, if we feel it's where GOD wants us, etc....then from there we'll take the necessary steps to sell and move, etc....but again that's just the plan...oh and for those of you that don't kow my dh is a piping designer, and we travel/move a lot...prayers for the next few weeks/months will be appreciated!

Thanks and Blessings!
