Yesterday on the drive home from SC I had lots of time to think. Dh was pulling the RV , I was pulling the small lowboy trailer. DD was with me, but slept most of the time. I thought wouldn't be cool if we as Christians just took a few minutes each day-like a prayer vigil- to pray for the election, to REALLY seek GOD's face...what a difference it could make! So I wanted a song from the early '90's (yeah dating myself), but couldn't find it...so I found this one instead:
And what if Gov. Sarah Palin is for such a time as this...Here's a song for that:

I love Wayne Watson!! Do you know his song, "Would I Know You Now"?? It's such an awesome song.
I'm really concerned over this election & am definitely going to be praying with you about it! I was really surprised to find out how many people at our small church are planning on voting for Obama...it gets my blood boiling!
Oh, we listened to Sarah's speech last week during the convention, and when she was done my daughter says, "Wow - she rocks!" I thought that was funny coming from a 7-year-old.
I also wanted to let ya know that I'm going to start a blog here on blogger where I can share more openly my real feelings. I feel like I'm on eggshells over at the homeschooling one, and I'm really not blogging all that much about our school days. When I get it running I'll let ya know. I love all the cool backgrounds you use. Are they free on blogger?
Have a great week!
That "just me" comment was from me, Stacey...should have signed my name. The phone rang & my brain left the building...
